In line with our mission to build the Church (people), impact the community, and reach the world, WCC’s efforts extend out into the community. Our outreach missions include the periodic distribution of food, clothing, toiletries, etc., to individuals and families in need throughout the Bay Area.

Our "Save the Coat" drive in January 2008 was a tremendous success! Because of the generosity of our members and friends, we collected more than 50 bags of clothing weighing more than 1,000 lbs.!  God is great!  So far we have blessed 5 shelters with clothes.

In December 2007, WCC members came together to provide meals for the less fortunate. Fifty-six people from the People’s Park in Oakland and the Oakland Homeless Project were blessed with bag lunches and encouraging words. Many thanks to all those who gave of their time and money to do the work of the Lord.

In November 2007, WCC members prepared a full Thanksgiving meal for families living in an Oakland women’s shelter. Five women and four children were blessed with food, toys, and love.
